Nutrition Versus Your Life

Testing you average blood glucose can tell you how well or how poorly your body is utilizing existing glucose stores and help you manage yourself away from being pre-diabetic.  86 MILLION Americans are pre-diabetic.  That's 1 out of 3 of us. What are sources of glucose? Sugar, beer, wine, bagels, bread, candy, pretzels, energy bars, juice, fruit, soda, lattes - excess sugar in our bodies is why we gain weight and can't keep it off. It's why we need more caffeine to function. It's why we have heart attacks at earlier ages.  It's why our backs hurt, why we get more headaches, why we feel like crap.  Why, please tell me, why would you NOT want to feel better?  Understand how glucose can really mess us up by taking a super simple test a few times a year to know how your body is working.  Then manage your life by making smarter food choices, being more active and generally just taking better care of yourself.
